Windows 8 to become RTM by First Week of August

At the WPC (“Worldwide Partners Conference”), CMO and CFO Tari Reller had announced that Windows 8 will go RTM by the first week of August. As Per Tari, those who have Software Assurance will have the full version of Windows 8 by August. As Windows 8 goes RTM, it will become a “Commerce Platform” so the early developer of the applications for Windows 8 could start earning money for their apps.

As disclosed on the conference, Windows 8 will be generally available for the public on end of October. So we will expect Windows 8 and Windows RT have to be available for selling and upgrades on October and it will be available on 109 languages and 231 markets worldwide.
